Operation Manager

Position Overview

The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of Go Seven Inc, ensuring smooth execution of distribution, logistics, warehousing, and fleet management. This role is critical in driving efficiency, maintaining service quality, and supporting the company’s growth in the FMCG sector. The Operations Manager will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight
• Manage day-to-day operations across distribution, warehousing, and fleet activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• FMCG & Distribution Management
• Oversee supply chain processes tailored to fast-moving consumer goods.
• Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasting, and replenishment cycles.
• Strengthen distributor and retail relationships to ensure timely product availability.
• Process Improvement
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements to optimize cost and productivity.
• Introduce best practices in logistics and warehouse management.
• Team Leadership
• Supervise and mentor supervisors and staff across operational departments.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Performance Monitoring
• Track KPIs such as order fulfillment, delivery accuracy, and operational costs.
• Provide regular reports to the COO and senior management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with finance, HR, and sales teams to align operations with business goals.
• Support strategic initiatives and expansion projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in distribution and FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, warehouse management, and fleet operations.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing large teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, consumer-driven environment.
