OPERATION MANAGER

About the role

Oversee and manage the company's daily operations across concrete plants, including production, delivery, plant maintenance and logistics. Ensure smooth and efficient coordination between Production, Quality Control, Maintenance, Sales, Purchasing and Transport departments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor plant performance, production output, delivery schedules and operational efficiency
• Plan and coordinate daily concrete production and delivery to meet customer requirements and project schedules
• Monitor the availability and condition of plant equipment, machinery, trucks and other operational resources
• Work closely with the Maintenance and Production teams to minimize equipment breakdowns and operational downtime
• Ensure products and operational activities comply with company standards, quality requirements, safety procedures, ISO/SIRIM/CIDB requirements and applicable regulations
• Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce wastage
• Handle operational issues and customer-related matters, and ensure timely resolution of problems
• Lead, supervise and develop plant supervisors, drivers, production staff and other operational personnel
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs to improve productivity, service level and overall performance
• Conduct regular site and plant inspections and follow up on corrective actions
