Operation Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cleaning and facilities services across multiple client sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for manpower planning, site operations, service standards, client communication and the supervision of operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily operations across assigned client sites
• Plan and coordinate manpower deployment to ensure sufficient coverage
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure cleaning standards are maintained
• Supervise and support Team Leads, Supervisors and Cleaning Specialists
• Manage manpower shortages, absenteeism and urgent replacement arrangements
• Attend to client feedback, requests and operational concerns promptly
• Maintain good working relationships with clients and site representatives
• Coordinate with HR on recruitment, employee attendance, performance and manpower requirements
• Support the onboarding and deployment of new employees
• Monitor cleaning equipment, supplies and site requirements

About you

• Previous experience in operations, cleaning, facilities management, housekeeping or a related industry
• Experience managing employees and multiple work sites would be an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to handle clients and employees professionally
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Willing to travel between different client sites
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
• Basic computer literacy and ability to prepare reports and updates
