Operation Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Operations Manager to become the operational backbone of our dynamic firm. This pivotal role involves end-to-end oversight and execution of transactions across three core verticals: traditional banking settlements, exchange-listed commodities futures, and crypto-asset operations. The ideal candidate is not just an executor but a strategic thinker who can structure deals, develop pricing models and operational manuals, and ensure flawless settlement through our IT infrastructure. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, small team where initiative, precision, and the ability to work independently are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full operational cycle for trades and settlements across all asset classes (Fiat, Commodities Futures, Crypto), including securities, derivatives, and other financial instruments on exchange and OTC markets.
• Manage the company's portfolio of financial instruments to ensure compliance with contractual terms and effective risk-position management. Monitor risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Actively participate in structuring complex transactions. Lead operational execution, ensuring all trades are captured, confirmed, and settled accurately and timely through proprietary or third-party IT systems and trading terminals.
• Verify, control, and prepare all necessary transaction documentation. Oversee all incoming and outgoing operational documents and ensure proper record-keeping.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes, manuals, and workflows in line with company and banking partner requirements. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead projects to develop and implement IT solutions for trade tracking, position and risk management, accounting, and financial reporting to ensure transparent and real-time control of company activities.
• Analyze operational data and prepare detailed reports for company and bank leadership. Collaborate closely with internal departments and banking partners to ensure seamless operations.

About you

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, or a technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial instrument operations, including hands-on work with trading terminals.
• Proven experience in implementing automation projects for trade processing, risk management, and accounting in financial markets.
• Professional-level English, and Russian and Mandarin will be a plus.
• Practical, results-driven mindset with the willingness to demonstrate knowledge and skills in real-world tasks.
• Strong ability to work independently, structure processes, and proactively solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to cover the night session from 2pm - 11pm (HKT).
