Operation Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily freight forwarding and logistics operations.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate the operations team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Coordinate import and export shipments, including sea freight, air freight, customs clearance, trucking, and warehousing.
• Ensure shipments are handled efficiently and delivered within the agreed timelines.
• Monitor operational costs, productivity, and service quality.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, transporters, and other service providers.
• Handle operational issues, customer escalations, and shipment irregularities effectively.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant customs regulations and industry requirements.
• Prepare operational reports and work closely with management to achieve company goals.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with management or team-leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of import and export procedures, shipping documentation, and logistics operations.
• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics-related systems.
• Positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
