Operation Manager

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and results-oriented Operations Manager to oversee daily business operations and ensure efficiency across all departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating departmental activities, supervising staff, controlling operational costs, maintaining service standards, and ensuring the achievement of organisational objectives.

The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth running of business activities.
• Supervise departmental heads, supervisors, and operational staff.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor inventory, stock management, and resource utilisation.
• Control operational expenses and minimise waste.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to management.
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Coordinate with the Human Resources, Finance, Production, and Customer Service departments.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and food-handling standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure departmental targets are achieved.
• Support business growth and continuous operational improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in operations management.
• Previous experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and operational reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and responsibilities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
