Operation Manager

About the role

To manage and oversee overall daily operation of the resort. Responsible for directing all employees' functions of the resort in accordance with the policies and practices of the Company.

Key responsibilities

• Plan operations that support strategic direction set by Management and correlate with annual operating budgets
• Ensure that the resort's mission, program and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
• Liaise with governing bodies and manage compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Achieve resort revenue and PAT as set out by Management for the year
• Ensure effectiveness of operations management with emphasis on cost control and optimization
• Develop short term actions, plans and long-range planning for new programs and strategies based on corporate directed goals
• Ensure smooth running of resort operations with all departments functioning as one unit to provide high standard services
• Ensure all staff work towards achieving financial objectives, particularly Profit After Tax
• Monitor and ensure high level of cost efficiency is achieved
• Develop work culture that emphasizes service to guests
