1. Main Purpose of the Job

To oversee and manage day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficient production planning, optimal resource utilization, quality compliance, cost control, and timely delivery of products while achieving organizational goals.

2. Educational Qualification

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.

* MBA in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management is preferred.

3. Experience

* 3–8 years of relevant experience in operations management, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.

* Previous experience in team management and process improvement is preferred.

5. Key Job Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted business activities.

2. Production Planning and Coordination: Coordinate with production teams to achieve production targets and ensure timely product availability.

3. Inventory and Supply Chain Management: Monitor raw materials, finished goods, stock levels, procurement, and dispatch activities.

4. Cost Control and Resource Utilization: Monitor operational expenses, minimize wastage, and optimize the utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.

5. Quality and Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), food safety standards, and applicable statutory requirements.

6. Team Management: Supervise departmental teams, allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and support employee development.

7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track operational performance, prepare MIS reports, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and report results to management.

8. Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks, implement corrective actions, and improve productivity, efficiency, and overall business performance.

9. Coordination with Departments: Work closely with Production, Quality, Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to achieve organizational objectives.

10. Management Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Managing Director regarding operational performance, challenges, risks, and improvement plans.

Performance Expectations: The Operations Manager is expected to improve operational efficiency, maintain quality standards, control costs, meet agreed production and delivery targets, and ensure effective coordination across departments.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
