Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Operation Manager – Collection to lead and manage our collection operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in loan recovery, collections, team management, operational planning, and performance management, preferably within the fintech, digital lending, banking, or BPO industry.

The candidate will be responsible for achieving collection targets, improving recovery performance, managing Team Leads and collection teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day collection operations and ensure achievement of assigned recovery targets.
• Lead and supervise Team Leads and collection agents.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve collection and recovery performance.
• Monitor team KPIs, productivity, conversion, recovery ratio, and overall performance.
• Analyze collection reports and identify performance gaps and improvement areas.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and guidance to Team Leads.
• Ensure effective follow-up and recovery from overdue customers.
• Coordinate with other departments including HR, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Management.
• Maintain operational discipline and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly collection performance reports to senior management.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure customer handling and collection practices remain professional and compliant.
• Manage workforce planning, attendance, productivity, and staffing requirements.
• Handle escalated customer and operational issues effectively.
• Work closely with senior management to achieve business and collection objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in collection/recovery operations.
• Previous experience in a managerial or senior operational role is preferred.
• Strong experience in fintech, digital lending, banking, BPO, or loan recovery will be an advantage.
• Proven track record of achieving collection/recovery targets.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong command of MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage target-driven operations.
• Strong understanding of collection KPIs and operational performance metrics.
