Operation Manager (Vessel)

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee Vessels dispatch, loading/discharging, route optimization, and coordinate with port authorities/Syahbandar for smooth port clearance and approvals.
• Involved in real-time vessel operations, coordinating complex logistics, managing documentation, meeting tight deadlines, and ensuring clear, timely communication throughout each port call.
• Ensure fleet seaworthiness and compliance with BKI rules, Ministry of Transportation regulations, ISM Code, and HSE standards.
• Understanding Ship/ Vessel Operational, Safety and Healthy, and ship/ Vessel document Procedure.
• Able to build and maintain strong communication with internal and external party (customer and charterer).
• Experienced in coordinating with ship management companies.

Requirements :

• Proficient in English.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies ANT-I/II
• Holding a Certificate of Competency (CoC) Class 1/2
• Experienced as Chief Officer and Master onboard vessels
• Experienced in the same role for at least 4 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of BKI classification, Syahbandar/port clearance, dry-docking, and vessel maintenance
• Preferably candidate from Bulk Cargo/Cement Carrier experience
• Possess strong motivation to work in a shore-based position
