OPERATION MANAGER/ASST OPERATION MANAGER (HAULAGE)

Responsibilities:

1. To manage and oversee operations team.
2. Attend internal and external meetings to resolve issues arises and provide value-added solution.
3. Provide comprehensive internal training for the team members.
4. To verify and check the order.
5. Counter check customer details, size for needed, type of lorry support and deadline.
6. Manage and investigate customer complaint and feedback.
7. Coordinate and liaising with the relevant parties.
8. Job planning and scheduling.
9. Close monitoring for driver movement to avoid any down time.
10. Briefing and follow up with driver in order to meet the customer requirement and satisfaction.
11. Order fulfilment.
12. Involve in transport document acknowledgement and return.
13. Assist to handle driver claim and reimbursement.
14. Handle customer complaint.
15. Prepare daily movement report.
16. Liaise with Adm/HR Department for update the staff, driver status and lorry status.
17. To perform any ad-hoc duties and reports as and when assigned/requested by  the Management.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma/Degree qualification in Logistic or related field
• Min 5 years’ experience in related field
• Good command in Mandarin/Malay/English to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
• Logistics background and experience with Shipping is a plus
• Able to do job planning and scheduling
• Good communication, planning and execution skills
• Proactive, self-confidence and team player
• Willing to work long hours and able to work under pressure in a fast moving environment
• Working knowledge of ISO, Custom Act and government authorities in logistic industry.
• Proficient in PC Applications particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Work location @ Simpang Pulai, Ipoh, Perak.
