Responsibilities

• Support real time baggage operation including monitoring and control of Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) to maintain a smooth baggage flow​
• Monitor and manage Autonomous Electric Tractor (AET) operations​
• Liaise with baggage service and maintenance contractors, ramp handling agents and AVSECO on real time baggage handling arrangements​
• Implement contingency measures to contain and mitigate any possible operation impact in the event of failure in the BHS​
• Prepare daily flight schedule update and resources allocation plan ​
• Perform safety inspection and traffic enforcement​
• Conduct operational audits to ensure the service performance​
• Required to work on shift duties (including overnight shift duties)

Requirement

• Degree holders in any discipline are welcome to apply. Fresh graduates will also be considered
• Candidates with an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma and at least 2 years' relevant experience, or secondary education with at least 4 years' relevant experience, may be considered for the position of Operation Officer
• Candidates with an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma without the required experience, or secondary education with at least 2 years' work experience, may be considered for the position of Operation Officer Trainee
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills​
• Proactive, self-motivated and service-oriented, able to work independently and under pressure​
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office application
• Holder of a valid HK driving license with Class 2 endorsement is preferred
