Operation planner

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and analytical Operations Planner to oversee and optimize our commissary operations. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling production activities, supply planning, and inventory management. Your main objective will be to maintain capacity plans and production schedules to ensure the efficient delivery of inventory, meet service targets, and achieve cost objectives for both the Amici Restaurant and Caramia Cakes and Gelato brands.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Supply Scheduling

• Evaluate purchase orders to create suitable, efficient production schedules.
• Plan production layouts specifically for Caramia (CIS, INPRO, Bakery, and Candies) and Ube Halaya.
• Prepare specialized production schedules, including marination schedules for baked chicken, tenders, and fillets.
• Coordinate production operations strictly in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
• Adapt and effect changes to production schedules dynamically to ensure all strict deadlines are met.

Order Consolidation & Allocation

• Check and review all consolidated orders coming from both Cara Mia and Amici retail stores.
• Provide guidance and support on order consolidation by thoroughly reviewing data accuracy.
• Create daily stock allocations for the warehouse (Amici and Cara Mia) and communicate directly with Warehouse Supervisors and Team Leaders regarding special instructions or corrections.
• Handle ordering tasks for the Amici Kitchen and prepare dedicated kitchen performance reports.
• Create and manage requisition forms for fresh produce (vegetables and fruits) and submit reports to F2.

Cross-Department Coordination & Communication

• Act as the main point of contact for stores; coordinate directly with Store Managers to resolve questions, order clarifications, and issues.
• Promptly inform all relevant departments of any changes made to current production schedules.
• Address and resolve unexpected production bottlenecks or issues immediately to minimize operational delays.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Estimate the exact amount of material, equipment, and labor required for upcoming production cycles.
• Recommend viable, data-driven solutions to reduce production costs, improve overall processes, and elevate product quality.
• Compile clear status and performance reports, submitting them to management in a timely manner.
• Perform other related commissary tasks that may be assigned by your immediate superior.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a Operations Planner/Production Planner, Scheduler, or a similar role within a food manufacturing, commissary, or quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry is highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical and mathematical skills for estimating materials, labor, and capacity.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate between Warehouse Leaders, Store Managers, and Management.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet, handle fast-paced changes, and resolve schedule conflicts efficiently.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software, MS Excel, or ERP systems used in production planning.
• Adaptability: High attention to detail and the ability to multitask across multiple brand requirements (Amici and Caramia).

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php28,000.00 per month
