Operation / Purchasing Assistant

About the role

Operation / Purchasing Executive / Assistant in the Food Service Industry, responsible for overseeing purchasing, logistics, import and export operations, and day-to-day operational management.

Key responsibilities

• In charge of oversea purchasing & logistic (import & export), liaison with shipping liners, forwarding agents & customs
• Responsible for the smooth day to day operation, delivery, logistics, custom clearance and documentation
• Coordinate all import and export shipment
• Arrange & supervise on outward clearing & prepare PO for oversea supplier
• Manage the storage and control of inventory, as well as prepare & submit the monthly inventory reports

About you

• Minimum Diploma Holder or degree a plus
• At least 5 years working experience in related field
• Proficient in Microsoft application
• Proficient in English. Speak Chinese and/or Malay a plus
• Pleasant personality, initiative, team player & able to work independently
• Experience with ERP system will be an added advantage
