Operations Specialist – Roadside Assistance, Repair & Vehicle Care

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE | Department: Operations
Work Arrangement: On-site & Field-Based | Reporting To: Operations Manager

Job Summary:
Responsible for roadside assistance, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, cleaning, and exterior upkeep of autonomous delivery vehicles/robots. Respond to field breakdowns and ensure vehicles are safely restored to service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to vehicle breakdowns and perform on-site troubleshooting.
• Carry out basic mechanical/electrical repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate towing/recovery when required.
• Maintain vehicle repair, service, and parts records.
• Perform exterior maintenance, minor touch-ups, coating/wrap upkeep, and cleaning.
• Report vehicle damage, recurring faults, and maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with operations and charging/staging teams.
• Maintain accurate incident and repair reports.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Vocational qualification in Automotive, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance, roadside assistance, fleet servicing, or field technical work.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence + Own Vehicle – Mandatory.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and basic repair skills.
• Willing to work outdoors and rotational/on-call shifts.
• Good English communication; Arabic is an advantage.
• EV, robotics, or autonomous vehicle experience is a plus.
