Operation Theatre Manager

Responsibilities -

Oversee the daily operations and management of the operation theatre, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

• Coordinate with surgical teams to organize and prepare the operation theatre for procedures.

• Maintain sterility and ensure adherence to infection control practices at all times.

• Supervise the handling and proper maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

• Provide emergency support during surgical procedures and respond effectively to any complications.

• Manage and document clinical information accurately and ensure compliance with medical standards.

• Train and mentor junior staff and ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure availability of essential supplies.

• Evaluate and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation theatre.

Qualification

BSC nursing, MSc Master of Science, MHA Healthcare Administration
