Salary: OMR 400/month

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Prepare the Operation Theatre, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before procedures.
• Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures.
• Maintain strict aseptic and infection-control practices in the OT.
• Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts before and after procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition during surgery.
• Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and transfer.
• Handle and maintain surgical instruments and OT equipment appropriately.
• Ensure proper sterilization and availability of surgical supplies.
• Assist with emergency procedures and maintain readiness for surgical emergencies.
• Complete OT documentation, surgical records, and handover reports accurately.
• Coordinate effectively with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• B.Sc Nursing qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in an Operation Theatre.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, OT protocols, infection control, and sterilization.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy hospital environment.
