OPERATION WORKER

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operation Worker to join the team at Marcentil Foods (M) Sdn Bhd in Senai, Johor. This is a full-time position based on-site in our warehouse and distribution facility. As an Operation Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehousing, storage and distribution operations. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver quality service to our customers and maintain operational excellence across our facility.

Key responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles using appropriate handling equipment and techniques
• Organising and storing products in designated warehouse locations following established protocols and safety standards
• Picking and packing orders accurately according to customer specifications and documentation
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently
• Conducting regular inventory checks and maintaining accurate records of stock movements
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse floor and storage areas
• Following all health, safety and food handling regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Assisting with stock rotation and ensuring compliance with FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
• Reporting any damaged goods, discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to supervisors
• Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets and deadlines

What we're looking for

• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly throughout the day
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control practices
• Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and stock management
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety
• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work shifts as required
• Knowledge of food storage and handling procedures is advantageous
• Working days/hour: Monday to Saturday (2 shift)
