To strengthen the competitiveness and long-term performance of our Erembodegem accessories production site, we are looking for an Operational Excellence Manager. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will join a cross-functional industrial environment and help accelerate the site’s transformation, operational discipline, and sustainable growth.

Getting a Flying Start

As Operational Excellence Manager, you will structure, lead, and monitor continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Your focus will be on improving productivity, quality, capacity utilisation, and cost performance through a data-driven and hands-on approach.

From your first days, you will work closely with production, process engineering, maintenance, supply chain, quality, and industrialisation teams. You will identify operational losses, translate insights into practical improvement plans, and embed common standards and routines that help teams achieve lasting performance improvements.

How You Make an Impact

• Analyse production performance data, including OEE, losses, deviations, scrap rates, standard times, and equipment breakdowns, to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to increase site competitiveness and reduce manufacturing, raw material, and logistics costs.
• Define, simplify, harmonise, and continuously improve operational excellence standards, tools, dashboards, and problem-solving methods across production areas.
• Support teams in resolving complex operational issues through structured root cause analysis and robust corrective actions.
• Coach and support Process Engineers and line management to ensure the consistent use of standards, performance routines, and continuous improvement practices.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, supply chain, quality, engineering, and industrialisation teams to improve reliability, productivity, capacity balancing, and the ramp-up of new equipment.

Your Starting Points

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing, production methods, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement role.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret operational data and turn insights into practical actions.
• Demonstrated experience in structured problem-solving, root cause analysis, and improvement project management.
• A collaborative, hands-on, and results-oriented mindset, with strong communication and change-management capabilities.
