About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Manager to join our team in Badung, Bali on a contract basis. As Operational Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our villa properties and ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of service delivery, managing staff performance, and ensuring compliance with operational policies and procedures. This position is essential to our success in delivering the exceptional guest experiences that Apple Villa Management is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities across villa properties, ensuring all systems function optimally and guest satisfaction is maximised
• Manage and supervise operational staff, including scheduling, training, performance management and professional development
• Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures and quality standards in accordance with company guidelines and hospitality best practices
• Monitor budgets and control operational costs whilst maintaining service quality and guest experience standards
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, local legislation and company policies across all operational areas
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, guest services and other departments to ensure seamless operations
• Handle guest complaints and operational issues professionally and promptly, implementing solutions to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports and documentation as required
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance productivity and profitability
• Liaise with management on operational performance, staffing requirements and strategic initiatives

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in an operational management role within the hospitality, tourism or airline industry
• Strong understanding of hospitality operations, guest service standards and customer experience management
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs and improve operational efficiency
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, compliance requirements and risk management in a hospitality context
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is preferred
• Proficiency in relevant operational management software and systems
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to operational needs as required
• Relevant qualifications in hospitality management, business administration or equivalent operational experience
