Operational Permanent Controller (OPC) Support – Global Operations | Brussels

or one of our banking clients in Brussels, we are looking for an Operational Permanent Controller (OPC) Support Consultant to strengthen the Global Operations team. The consultant will contribute to operational risk management, incident follow-up, control framework alignment, and data quality improvement within a RISK 360 environment.

📍 Location: Brussels, Belgium
🏠 Hybrid: 50% remote possible
🕒 Assignment: Full-time mission

Responsibilities

• Support the management and follow-up of operational incidents and Broker Claims

• Review incidents, challenge provided information, identify root causes and assess business impacts

• Ensure proper documentation and improve the quality of incident reporting

• Collaborate with Operations teams to optimize processes and reduce control efforts

• Support the alignment of the Operational Permanent Control framework within the RISK 360 environment

• Identify and resolve data mapping inconsistencies related to incidents, controls, procedures and risk frameworks

• Perform data clean-up activities and support RCSA campaign preparation

• Contribute to improving governance, processes and operational risk practices

• First experience in Operational Risk, Operational Permanent Control (OPC), Internal Control or Risk Management

• Experience with operational incident management and root cause analysis

• Knowledge of RCSA, permanent control frameworks and operational risk processes

• Experience working in the banking or financial services sector

• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

• Ability to challenge processes and interact with multiple stakeholders

• Good documentation and communication skills

• Familiarity with GRC tools (RISK 360, Archer, ServiceNow GRC, MetricStream, etc.) is a plus

• Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch is an asset
