Operational Risk Management Specialist

We are currently sourcing two Junior Operational Risk Management Specialists for an 8-month mission (part-time 2/5), starting May 2026.

Location: Luxembourg City (on-site, no remote)

Your Mission

Within the Financial and Operational Risk Management Department (Operational Risk Prevention & Cybersecurity Section), you will support the proactive management of operational risks across the institution's activities.

Your Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across business lines

• Accompany first-line-of-defense business units in risk documentation

• Guide users in the effective use of the GRC tool

• Contribute to second-line controls and propose corrective measures

• Support project risk evaluations and define mitigation actions

• Contribute to risk reporting, periodic reports, and risk mapping updates

• Analyze Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)

• Ensure proper documentation aligned with the risk management framework

Your Profile

• First experience (internship or junior role) in risk management, internal control, or audit in a financial environment

• Interest in GRC tools and operational risk frameworks

• Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills

• Fluency in French and English required — German/Luxembourgish is a plus

• Available from May 2026, part-time (2 days/week)
