Operational Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our mobile home park communities. This remote position involves managing community operations, resident relations, park managers, and project management, with a focus on sales of homes during turnover periods. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in property management, particularly in low-income residential settings or mobile home parks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of mobile home park communities remotely, using software tools like Rent Manager.
• Oversee and coordinate with park managers and on-site staff to ensure smooth community operations.
• Handle resident relations, addressing concerns and ensuring community satisfaction.
• Implement project management strategies for community improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Facilitate the sales and turnover of homes within the communities.
• Collaborate with the owner to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for community operations.
• Monitor financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve net operating income.
• Report directly to the owner, providing updates on community performance and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, preferably in low-income residential settings or mobile home parks.
• Proficiency in Rent Manager software is highly desirable .
• Ability to work independently and autonomously, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in managing turnaround projects, increasing occupancy rates, and leasing processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to build and improve operational processes in collaboration with the owner.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with additional software platforms related to property management and resident screening.
• Background in affordable housing or Section 8 rentals.
• Experience in remote work environments.
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
