GVI Logistics is a New Zealand-owned international logistics provider. We handle the import and export of dry and perishable cargo by air and ocean, as well as customs brokerage, event logistics and third-party logistics.

The opportunity
We're growing, and we have a new Operations Administrator role at our Auckland Airport site. You'll join our Export Airfreight team and do a mix of operational and administrative work.

This is a great pathway into freight forwarding, or a chance to build on the experience you already have. Our experienced freight operators will give you ongoing training and mentoring to grow your skills, knowledge and career.

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A great work ethic and self-motivation
• A high level of computer literacy, and ability to pick up new systems and processes with ease
• A team player who's also comfortable working autonomously
• Someone who can follow instructions, retain information, solve problems and use their initiative
• A positive attitude, a friendly nature and a real keenness to learn

Requirements

• A clean driver's licence (Restricted or Full)
• A clean criminal record, to meet CAA security requirements
