Operations Analyst

Inter-Continental Freight Pte. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Analyst to support our logistics and freight forwarding operations in Singapore. The role will be responsible for analysing operational data, monitoring shipment activities, preparing reports, and supporting the team in improving operational efficiency and service performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse logistics and operational data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Monitor shipment and transportation activities to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Track shipment status, delivery schedules, and operational performance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, orders, transportation activities, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, freight partners, carriers, and other stakeholders to follow up on operational matters.
• Investigate shipment delays, discrepancies, and other operational issues and assist in resolving them.
• Monitor key operational performance indicators and provide data-driven insights to the operations team.
• Assist in reviewing logistics workflows and recommending improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational errors.
• Support cost and performance analysis related to transportation and freight operations.
• Ensure operational data and records are updated accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform other operational and analytical duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, supply chain, or operations.
• Experience in analysing operational data and preparing reports is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with different teams.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment.
