Operations Analyst

About the role

CEVA Logistics (Thailand) Ltd. is seeking an Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team in Chon Buri. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our logistics and transportation operations. As an Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing operational data, identifying inefficiencies, and providing actionable insights to improve our service delivery and operational performance. This role is essential to our continued success in optimising logistics operations and ensuring we maintain our competitive edge in the transportation and manufacturing sectors.

What you'll be doing

1. Collect, analyse and interpret operational data from various logistics and transportation processes
2. Prepare comprehensive reports on operational performance, trends and key metrics
3. Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies, recommending solutions to enhance productivity
4. Monitor supply chain and logistics KPIs, tracking performance against targets and benchmarks
5. Support capacity planning and resource allocation optimisation
6. Collaborate with operations teams to gather requirements and understand operational challenges
7. Develop dashboards and visualisations to communicate operational insights to stakeholders
8. Conduct root cause analysis on operational issues and delays
9. Support process improvement initiatives and assist in implementing recommendations
10. Maintain accurate records and documentation of analyses and findings

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
2. 2-4 years of experience in operations analysis, logistics analysis, data analysis or a similar analytical role within transportation or manufacturing sectors
3. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP and data visualisation
4. Experience with business intelligence tools or data visualisation software (such as Tableau, Power BI or similar) is highly desirable
5. Solid understanding of supply chain, logistics operations or manufacturing processes
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
7. Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
8. Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
10. Proficiency in English is essential; Thai language skills are advantageous
11. Experience with Power BI, Excel or other enterprise resource planning systems is preferred
