Operations & Business Development Manager

Busy Bees Cleaning keeps homes and businesses spotless across New Zealand. We’re a tight-knit team that takes real pride in the service we deliver and the relationships we build along the way.

We’re growing our Auckland franchise network and need an organised, commercially minded person to help keep our people, clients and operations moving in the right direction.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing business development activity across Auckland, including responding to enquiries and following up new opportunities
• Managing new client enquiries, proposals, pricing and contractual information
• Leading and supporting Auckland operations by setting clear priorities, expectations and performance standards
• Coordinating the onboarding and ongoing support of new franchisees
• Coordinating the smooth implementation and handover of new clients to the right franchisee
• Building strong relationships with clients, franchisees and internal team members
• Supporting payroll-related administration, reporting and accurate record keeping
• Identifying operational issues and finding practical ways to improve how we work

What you bring

• Strong business development, sales or account management experience
• Experience managing people, teams or business operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities while keeping a clear head
• Good commercial judgement and strong attention to detail
• Confidence working with clients, franchisees and internal teams
• A practical, solution-focused approach and the willingness to take ownership
• Experience in commercial cleaning, franchising, pricing, contracts would be useful
