What they need

Do you thrive on bringing people, systems and processes together to create exceptional experiences and outstanding results? Are you a proactive organiser who enjoys creating structure, building strong relationships and helping a business to operate at its very best?

Our client is seeking a highly organised and capable Operations & Client Experience Manager to be the operational backbone of their business.  Working closely with the two Directors, you’ll help drive day-to-day operations, client coordination and business systems, helping support a business where priorities are clear, communication is proactive and things get done. This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys creating structure and helping a busy, growing business to thrive.

You will support client delivery, construction and health and safety administration, business systems, office operations, team coordination and a range of exciting business projects. You'll take ownership of priorities, create clarity, improve processes and ensure both clients and colleagues know what happens next.

About the Role
Our client has built a strong reputation for quality, professionalism and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will sit at the heart of the business, connecting clients, trades, suppliers, team members and systems to ensure everything runs smoothly and everyone knows what happens next.

No two days are the same. In this role, you will:

  • Welcome clients, visitors and industry partners and create an exceptional first impression.
  • Ensure the office, design hub and showhome always reflect the quality, care and professionalism the business is known for.
  • Keep clients informed and supported through their building journey, ensuring clear communication and a seamless experience.
  • Coordinate activities across pre-construction, construction and handover, ensuring workflows, council documentation, projects, consents, handovers and key milestones move smoothly and on schedule.
  • Keep HubSpot accurate and up to date, creating clear visibility of client activity, commitments and next steps.
  • Coordinate compliance, health & safety administration and construction support across active projects.
  • Bring people together through client events, team initiatives and community engagement activities.
  • Support the Directors by turning priorities into action and keeping momentum across the business.
  • Identify smarter ways of working and continuously improve systems, processes and client experiences as the business grows.

What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who takes initiative, is highly organised and can confidently juggle multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, a positive outlook and a welcoming approach.

You'll ideally have:

  • Significant operations, senior administration, business support or client coordination experience.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence using CRM systems and business software.
  • The ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • High levels of initiative and accountability.
  • A professional, warm and approachable manner.
  • A sharp eye for detail while maintaining a focus on the bigger picture.

Experience in residential construction, property development, professional services, or deadline-driven, project-based environments will be highly regarded. This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend showhome cover required as part of a shared roster.

If you're someone who takes pride in creating exceptional client experiences, building strong relationships and helping a business operate at its best, we'd love to hear from you.

Please apply now with an up-to-date CV and a cover letter introducing yourself, outlining why this opportunity interests you and the skills and experience you will bring. For more information or a confidential discussion, please call Linley Steele on [021 837 123](tel:021 837 123).

This advertisement will close on Sunday 13th September 2026. Only applicants with the legal right to live and work in NZ will be considered for this position.
