Operations & Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Provide responsive onsite field support for customer sites in Hat Yai and surrounding areas, covering spare parts management, basic hardware replacement, network cabling, remote-access setup, and coordination with customers and technical vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage spare parts inventory stored at the company-provided accommodation in Hat Yai
• Respond to service tickets and arrive onsite with the required spare parts within 4 hours after receiving a service request
• Provide onsite support for customer sites within approximately a 200 km radius of Hat Yai
• Perform basic hardware troubleshooting, component checks, and spare parts replacement
• Perform Ethernet/LAN cable termination and basic network connectivity checks when required
• Set up remote access and assist customers, remote engineers, or vendors with troubleshooting, configuration, and commissioning
• Coordinate onsite activities, provide timely service updates, and maintain accountability for spare parts, tools, and customer equipment

About you

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support, network support, data center operations, field service, technical support, or a related technical role
• Able to communicate effectively in Thai and either English or Chinese
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking; familiarity with Ethernet/LAN cabling and cable termination is preferred
• Comfortable with hands-on hardware replacement, onsite troubleshooting, and coordination with remote technical teams
• Able to respond promptly to onsite service requests and travel to customer locations when required
• Valid driving license and ability to drive are preferred due to onsite support requirements
