Operations & Maintenance Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance of solar PV systems, inverters, and associated electrical equipment, including troubleshooting faults and breakdowns.
• Monitor and analyze system performance data to identify anomalies, underperformance, and opportunities for optimization and improved efficiency.
• Plan and execute scheduled maintenance, inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities in accordance with O&M plans, manufacturer guidelines, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with site personnel, contractors, vendors, clients, utilities, and authorities on maintenance works, repairs, spare parts, and technical matters.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, QMS, technical and regulatory requirements, while maintaining accurate maintenance records, reports, equipment history, warranties, and inventory.
• Support and guide O&M assistant, respond to urgent maintenance issues, drive continual improvement, and travel frequently to project sites nationwide as required.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in solar PV operations & maintenance or a related technical field.
• Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical infrastructure, and O&M practices.
• Good troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and problem-solving skills, with familiarity in O&M monitoring and performance analysis platforms.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards, applicable codes, and HSE requirements.
• Good communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
• Willing to travel frequently to project sites across Malaysia.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
