Operations and Purchase Coordinator

Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating daily operations, procurement, material purchasing, supplier follow-ups, and joinery projects. The role requires strong knowledge of joinery materials, fit-out requirements, and supplier coordination.

Key Roles & Responsibilities;

• Coordinate daily operational requirements for fit-out and joinery projects.
• Handle purchase requests, obtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare purchase orders.
• Source and coordinate with suppliers for materials, hardware, tools, and site requirements.
• Follow up on material availability, delivery schedules, and urgent site requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Teams, Estimators, and Accounts to ensure smooth procurement.
• Maintain proper records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and supplier documents.
• Monitor material requirements based on project schedules and avoid delays due to material shortages.
• Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Coordinate material deliveries to sites and ensure items are received as required.
• Maintain an updated supplier/vendor database and develop new supplier relationships.
• Support project teams with material and product sourcing when required.
• Ensure purchases are made according to approved specifications, quantities, and budgets.
• Track pending orders and provide regular procurement updates to management.
• Handle general operational coordination and administrative tasks related to projects.

Requirements:

• Experience in joinery procurement/operations is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, finishes, and general fit-out materials.
• 2–5 years of relevant UAE experience preferred.
• Strong supplier negotiation and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project requirements.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
