Operations and Technology Project Manager

We are looking for a solution focused, Operations & Tech Project Manager, who brings a can-do attitude to the workplace and wants to grow their career alongside our business. In this role, you will keep our warehouses and office systems running smoothly and efficiently while leading projects to improve our daily operations. You will report directly to the President, working cross-functionally with managers, team members, and outside vendors across multiple states to identify challenges, implement solutions, and achieve organizational goals.

This is a highly hands-on role where you will manage projects from start to finish, support equipment and software, and solve problems head-on. Responsibilities include supporting multiple locations across two or more states and balancing technology, facility, and operational priorities. Tech Systems & Hands-On Support

• WMS Expert: Act as the master user for our Warehouse Management System, handling routine maintenance and updates
• Daily Tech Support: Help team members troubleshoot computers, printers, scanners, email, telecom, and time-keeping tools.
• Infrastructure & Security: Assist with wireless networks, security cameras, building access systems, and workstation setups.
• System Tracking: Keep organized records of system repairs, updates, user access, and control permissions.

Project & Facility Coordination

• End-to-End Ownership: Coordinate assigned tech and operational projects from planning, budgeting, and supply-sourcing to completion.
• Smooth Deployments: Manage hardware installations and system upgrades across locations, ensuring teams understand the new tools.
• Vendor Management: Serve as the point of contact for service providers, negotiate competitive pricing, and coordinate facility repairs.
• Proactive Communication: Keep the President, Managers, and Vendors proactively informed of project progress and roadblocks.

Operational Process Improvement

• Streamline Workflows: Study how warehouse and office activities connect to eliminate bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Review performance metrics and use Excel to build clean KPIs that support practical business improvements.
• SOP Development: Write and update clear, step-by-step Standard Operating Procedures to help cross-train teams on new systems.

What we’re looking for:

Technical Skills

• System Agility: You tackle new tech with ease. You’re quick to master, test, and support our warehouse software, love solving tech puzzles, and always keep our systems safe and secure
• Software Savvy: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically using Excel to filter data, calculate metrics, and build KPIs.
• Network & Hardware Troubleshooting: A strong understanding of internet connections, wireless networks, email, and workplace tech setup.

Core Competencies

• High Initiative & Accountability: A self-starter who takes complete ownership of tasks without needing constant direction.
• Adaptability: Comfortable moving between a fast-paced office and warehouse environment while handling shifting priorities.
• Clear Communication: The ability to explain technical fixes or process updates simply to team members at all levels.
• Sound Judgment: Knowing how to make practical daily decisions and recognizing exactly when to loop in executive leadership.

Education & Experience

• Practical Experience: In tech support, warehouse operations, logistics, or project coordination

Work Environment and Essential requirements

• Operational Mobility: Ability to traverse, navigate, and maintain a presence across our office and warehouse floor to support the team and audit workflows.
• Hardware Manipulation: Ability to safely lift, move, transport, and position tech hardware (like computers, printers, and monitors) weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Technical Assembly: Ability to configure, install, adjust, and manipulate wiring, tools, and technical equipment with accuracy.
• Varying Environments: Ability to work effectively within both a climate-controlled office setting and an active warehouse environment subject to fluctuations in temperature, dust, and noise.
• Ability to seamlessly switch gears from analytical planning (like building Excel KPIs) to active troubleshooting when a teammate needs immediate tech help.
• Ability to evaluate abstract system glitches or warehouse bottlenecks and independently map out practical, logical solutions.
• Cool Under Pressure: Ability to maintain a collaborative, helpful attitude and clear focus during system updates or busy facility projects.
• Clear Communication: Ability to take complex technical information and explain it simply and clearly to team members at all levels, as well as executive leadership
