COME GROW WITH US
Operations & Training Specialist
Reporting to Organizational Development, you’ll play an important role in helping our teams get the most out of the technology and processes they use every day. You’ll support business systems, develop training and documentation, coordinate operational workflows, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency across a multi-business-unit organization.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is tech-savvy, highly organized, curious, and naturally wired to solve problems. You don’t need to be a software developer. We’re looking for someone who can learn systems quickly, understand how people actually use them, and turn complicated processes into clear, practical solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Support and improve business systems by helping employees effectively use the software, tools, and platforms they rely on every day.
- Train and support employees by coordinating system training, answering questions, creating helpful resources, and identifying opportunities to improve user adoption.
- Create clear, useful documentation including SOPs, process guides, workflows, training materials, and job aids—and keep them current as processes evolve.
- Improve operational processes by looking at how work gets done, identifying inefficiencies or unnecessary complexity, and helping teams develop more effective ways of working.
- Coordinate onboarding and employee processes by helping manage system access, training, documentation, compliance-related requirements, and follow-through.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives involving business systems, operational processes, technology, and organizational improvements.
- Help manage business system changes including user accounts and permissions, testing, system communications, software updates, and adoption initiatives.
- Connect people, processes, and technology by working with teams across the organization to understand challenges, translate needs into practical solutions, and communicate changes clearly.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency by recognizing repetitive, manual, or inconsistent processes and helping develop better workflows or technology solutions.
- Coordinate operational activities and follow-through including meetings, schedules, records, communications, action items, recruitment coordination, and other activities that keep work moving.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by tracking recurring issues, identifying patterns, sharing solutions, and helping establish consistent processes across the organization.
What We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you:
- Learn technology quickly and enjoy figuring out how new software works.
- Think in terms of systems, processes, and connections, not just individual tasks.
- Are highly organized and can keep multiple projects and priorities moving.
- Have strong problem-solving skills and enjoy finding the root cause of operational issues.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Can turn a complicated process into a simple explanation or step-by-step guide.
- Take ownership and follow through without needing constant direction.
- Are comfortable working with people across different departments and levels of the organization.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Adapt well when priorities change and new challenges arise.
- Enjoy helping other people become more confident and effective with technology.
Experience That Will Help You Succeed
We’re especially interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Business systems or software administration
- CRM, ERP, HRIS, project management, or workflow platforms
- Systems training or user support
- SOP and process documentation
- Workflow analysis and process improvement
- Project or operations coordination
- Workflow automation
- Change management or technology adoption
You do not need experience with every system we use. Strong technical aptitude, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly are just as important.
Why This Role Matters
This position has an opportunity to make a visible impact across the organization.
You’ll help employees work more effectively, make systems easier to use, improve consistency across teams, and turn inefficient or confusing processes into ones that are easier to understand and execute.
Pay is dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
