Operations Assistant

Warehouse / Production Operator

We are a manufacturer of construction materials located in Medley, FL. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Warehouse / Production Operator to join our team full-time.

This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Our manufacturing process involves cement, sand, and other powdered materials, so this position regularly works in a dusty industrial environment. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, willing to learn, and comfortable taking responsibility for keeping the warehouse and production areas running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Organize finished products, raw materials, pallets, and warehouse areas.
• Prepare and wrap pallets for shipment.
• Receive materials and place them in the correct locations.
• Assist with daily production and packaging operations.
• Prepare and weigh materials used in production.
• Keep production and warehouse areas clean and organized.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Replace filters, hoses, and other basic components when needed.
• Assist with minor repairs and general maintenance.
• Help maintain hoses, pipes, tools, and production equipment in good condition and properly organized.
• Assist with troubleshooting basic production or warehouse issues.
• Follow production, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
• Support other warehouse and production activities as needed.

• Comfortable working in a dusty manufacturing environment involving cement, sand, and powdered materials.
• Comfortable performing physical work in an industrial environment.
• Able to lift and move materials as required.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently once trained.
• Mechanically inclined or comfortable performing basic repairs is a plus.
• Forklift experience is strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, construction, maintenance, or similar experience is preferred.
• Spanish required.
• Basic English is helpful but not required.
• Reliable transportation to our facility in Medley, FL.

Schedule

Monday through Friday
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Occasional overtime may be available depending on production needs.

Compensation

$18–$20 per hour, depending on experience and capabilities.
