We provide a complete service, from design and manufacture through to installation, delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Our extensive range of flame-retardant fabrics, furniture, flooring, accessories and soft furnishings enables us to create welcoming, functional and stylish environments for our customers.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated, creative and organised individual to join our team.

The Role

This is a varied role based primarily in our office, working closely with our Operations and Sales teams to create customer quotations, design interior schemes and coordinate customer projects.

Using customer briefs, room photographs, furniture finishes and colour schemes, you will assist in creating detailed customer quotations by selecting accessories that complement each care home's interior. You will assist in producing professional quote presentations, ensuring each proposal reflects the customer's requirements, style and budget, while supporting the day-to-day administration of projects from quotation through to completion.

Although the role is predominantly office based, you must also be willing to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when required to assist with customer installations and accessory dressing projects.

  • Assisting in producing professional quotation presentations for customers.
  • Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate records.
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers throughout each project.
  • Providing day-to-day office administration and supporting the Operations team.
  • Coordinating projects to ensure customer deadlines are achieved.
  • Picking and preparing accessory orders ready for dispatch.
  • Assisting with stock organisation and general warehouse duties when required.
  • Travelling throughout the UK to assist with installations and accessory dressing projects when required.
  • Providing excellent customer service and representing Frank Beirne Fabrics professionally at all times.
  • Following Health & Safety procedures within the office, warehouse and on customer sites.

Working Away

The successful applicant must be willing to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when required.

When working away, you will assist with delivering and installing curtains, blinds and accessories, as well as dressing bedrooms, lounges and communal areas within care homes to ensure every project is completed to the highest standard before handover to the customer.

A company vehicle will be provided for all work-related travel.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and working within an office environment.
  • Has a creative eye for colour, interiors and presentation.
  • Enjoys selecting accessories and creating attractive room schemes.
  • Is comfortable assisting with customer quotations and order processing.
  • Can interpret customer briefs and work with room photographs, furniture finishes and colour schemes.
  • Has excellent attention to detail.
  • Is professional, reliable and eager to learn.
  • Can work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Is willing to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when required.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills.

  • Customer quotations and order processing.
  • Interior design, home accessories or soft furnishings.
  • Retail or visual merchandising.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience using Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint or similar presentation software (beneficial but not essential).
