Operations Assistant

About the role

This is a varied entry-level role combining administration and data entry with returns processing, stock support, warehouse trips and general day-to-day tasks. No previous office experience is required.

Key responsibilities

• General administration, data entry and updating spreadsheets or business systems
• Receiving, inspecting, sorting and processing returned products
• Submitting returns through customer portals and preparing suitable products for resale
• Assisting with basic stock counts, samples, labels and product handling
• Completing warehouse trips to collect samples, pick up items or drop products off
• Receiving mail and deliveries, preparing outgoing post and completing local errands
• Ordering kitchen, stationery and general office supplies
• Keeping shared office spaces organised and supporting meetings or team events

About you

• Reliable, punctual and willing to take on a variety of tasks
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Comfortable with both computer-based and hands-on work
• Basic email, Word and Excel skills, or a willingness to learn
• A clear communicator who can follow instructions and ask questions
• Positive, practical and keen to build workplace skills
