OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

ABOUT THE ROLE

A quantitative trading and blockchain infrastructure firm is looking for an Operations Assistant to support day-to-day business functions as the team scales. This is a foundational operations role spanning finance coordination, vendor and invoice management, hiring logistics, and general process support across a lean, fast-moving, remote-first organization operating in trading, DeFi, and venture-adjacent infrastructure.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Operational Support

Coordinate day-to-day administrative and operational tasks across finance, hiring, and vendor management.

Finance Coordination

Track invoices, payments, and billing discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution.

Hiring Logistics

Support recruiting workflows including scheduling, candidate tracking, and tooling access management.

Process Improvement

Identify and implement process improvements to support a growing, cross-functional team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Prior experience in an operations, admin, or coordination role
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail, especially with financial documentation
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
• Familiarity with crypto or trading industries a plus

Bonus Points

• Experience supporting recruiting or HR workflows
• Exposure to startup or crypto-native environments
• Familiarity with tools like Ashby or similar ATS platforms
• Comfortable handling sensitive financial information
