Our firm is a Hong Kong-based, Type 9 entity licensed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission to engage in asset management activities.  The licensed corporation advises on investments for two hedge funds headquartered in the Cayman Islands.  Key trading markets of these funds are U. S. equities and futures.  Our business was established in 2008 and has a very strong infrastructure, highly reputable counterparties and very  solid and experienced management.

We are seeking to hire an Executive Officer to support our growing business.  This position will provide exposure to the basics of hedge fund operations.  The main duties touch on operations, regulatory and  compliance activities related to work with our banks, external accountants and auditors, offshore directors, the major investors in our funds and regulators in Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands.

The successful candidate will have a close working relationship with the two Responsible Officers and the two directors of our firm to facilitate not only smooth day-to-day operations for both the licensed corporation and Cayman funds, but also for meeting requirements of key investors into the funds.

The successful candidate will have a strong accounting background and at least two to three years of experience in an accounts-related position.  In addition to a range of operational, regulatory and compliance duties, there will also be the opportunity for the right person to learn the methodology and practices delineated by the Uniform Accounting Financial Reporting Standards Council, a highly important body for setting accounting standards, in which our firm plays an important role.
