Operations Associate

Job Summary
Working on our small team at Café X offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of fields, including engineering, manufacturing, construction, technical and customer support, product development, and design. You will also be exposed to culinary aspects like recipe development and testing, crafting drinks, syrups, and cold brews.

The primary focus of this position is to assist the Operations team in daily tasks in-office to enable the on-site team to provide quick, efficient service our Robotic Coffee Bars at SFO International Airport and the Bay Area. Daily operations will involve packing on-site supply bins, inventory management, syrup and cold brew preparation, basic office cleaning/organizing, equipment cleaning, and some assistance with warehouse build projects.

Main responsibilities:

• Preparing supply bins for coffee bar sites
• Washing and sanitizing coffee equipment
• Packaging pastries and other treats
• Preparing kegs of cold brew, lemonades, etc
• Maintaining the Operations team work area
• Organizing and maintaining supply room
• Inventory management

Additional responsibilities:

• Cleaning and organizing workshop areas
• Assisting with new machines builds
• Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in operations management is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Work with tools and mobile apps to maintain and troubleshoot coffee bars
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid CA Driver's License -- clean driving record
• Weekend availability
• Previous experience in a food service or operations role is preferred but not required.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
