Operations Associate

A growing multibillion dollar hedge fund in the NYC area is seeking to expand its team.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and review of trade, position, and cash reconciliations
• Maintenance of portfolio management system and shadow general ledger
• Collaborating with brokers and service providers to ensure daily operational health
• Valuation oversight across complex instruments
• Tracking and review of portfolio financing and margin requirements
• Cash and position transfers for portfolio financing optimization
• Maintaining and enhancing the internal control framework
• Preparation of client reporting deliverables
• Preparation of internal management reporting
• Oversight of regulatory filings

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong technical skills and familiarity with hedge fund operations
• Ability to operate in a fast-growing, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
• Experience with Claude AI
