The Operations Associate exists to support coordination and collection from UEPL's third-party customers through data monitoring, compliance, and cross-functional coordination with Supply (Importation) and external partners. The role monitors supplier performance, ensures compliance with the Product Supply Agreement (PSA), and provides the organization with a dependable operational foundation — from import cargo coordination through post-cargo discharging documentation and claims resolution.

How You’ll Drive Success

Supply Operations & Coordination

• Support the coordination of import cargo schedules, discharge operations, and related logistics with suppliers, traders, and terminal partners

• Compute and collect claims for demurrage, deviation costs, and port fees from external customers

Policy & Process Compliance

• Monitor compliance with the Product Supply Agreement (PSA) and maintain complete and accurate records for documentation
• Prepare periodic compliance status reports and escalate identified gaps for timely resolution

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

• Serve as a primary coordination point between UEPL and third-party customers to ensure smooth supply operations, documentation flow, and demurrage collection
• Maintain clear and timely communication across internal teams and external partners throughout the supply chain cycle

Competency Development

• Participate in relevant training programs, workshops, and certification courses related to fuel supply, importation regulations, and blending standards
• Stay current with industry developments, regulatory updates, and supply chain best practices, applying learnings to daily work

The Expertise You Bring

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in logistics, importation, or petroleum operations are an advantage

Experience

• At least 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, importation, or petroleum operations
• Exposure to Product Supply Agreements, cargo scheduling, or demurrage claims processing is an advantage
• Experience coordinating with third-party suppliers, traders, or terminal partners is preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong grasp of cargo and logistics coordination, with experience or working knowledge of fuel import and regulatory compliance
• Proficient in supply data management, documentation, and reporting
• High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused with excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with logistics or supply chain systems is an advantage.
