What they need
About the opportunity
We’re partnering with a growing and busy business to find an Operations Coordinator to join their team.
This is a hands-on coordination role focused on keeping things organised, managing competing priorities and making sure day-to-day activity runs smoothly.
You’ll work closely with the Group Manager and broader Marketing, Communications & Events team, providing high-level coordination and administrative support across workflows, calendars, requests, documents, presentations, suppliers, systems, projects and events.
You don’t need previous Marketing, Communications or Events experience. This role is focused on coordination and operational support, so we’re looking for someone who is highly organised, confident managing multiple priorities and has strong technology and document skills.
As you’ll be supporting the Marketing team, you’ll need to be very comfortable with systems and technology, particularly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Canva. You’ll have a keen eye for detail and enjoy taking existing templates, presentations and documents and making sure they’re polished, professional and consistent.
About you
You’re someone who enjoys being the person behind the scenes keeping everything on track. You’re proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership of tasks from start to finish.
You’ll be confident working with different stakeholders, managing deadlines and following up when information or actions are outstanding.
We’re looking for someone with:
- 3+ years’ experience in Executive Support, Senior Administration, Business Support, Project Coordination or a similar coordination role;
- Experience supporting a busy team or senior leader across competing priorities;
- Excellent organisation and time management skills;
- A keen eye for detail and a high standard of written work;
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities;
- Confidence proactively following up stakeholders and keeping things moving;
- Strong Microsoft Word skills, including formatting, templates, styles, tables and professional documents;
- Strong PowerPoint and / or Canva skills, particularly formatting presentations, pitch decks and existing branded templates;
- Good general technology and systems skills, with the ability to pick up new platforms quickly
- Intermediate Excel skills;
- Experience coordinating projects, events, meetings, suppliers or multiple stakeholders;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Good judgement, initiative and follow-through; and
- A proactive approach and the ability to anticipate what needs to be done rather than waiting to be asked.
Benefits & culture
You’ll be joining a growing, collaborative and fast-paced business with a professional but relaxed working environment.
There’s a strong focus on teamwork, wellbeing and creating connection between office and site-based teams.
What’s on offer:
- $90,000 – $110,000 + super;
- Full-time permanent opportunity;
- 1 day WFH per week on Tuesdays after approximately one month;
- Quarterly team lunches;
- Regular staff events;
- Christmas and EOFY celebrations;
- Strong focus on employee wellbeing and team connection;
- Morningside location; and
- Free street parking available.
