Operations Co-ordinator

About the role

You are the glue of daily operations—ensuring the café runs smoothly, consistently, and profitably. You coordinate people, stock, service flow, and standards so that every customer experience feels effortless, while the business stays tight on cost, quality, and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day café operations (opening, service flow, closing)
• Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, bar, and service team
• Step in to resolve operational issues in real-time
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and overall ambiance standards
• Prepare staff rosters and manage shift coverage
• Monitor staff punctuality, attendance, and performance
• Support onboarding and basic training of new staff
• Track daily stock levels (ingredients, beverages, supplies)
• Coordinate ordering and supplier communication
• Minimise wastage and monitor portion control

About you

• 1–3 years experience in F&B, café, or restaurant operations
• Strong organisational and multitasking ability
• High attention to detail
• Able to stay calm under pressure
• Clear communicator
• Team player with leadership instincts
• Able to manage conflict and keep team aligned
• Understands basic costing and wastage control
• Friendly, composed, customer-first attitude
• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality / Business (preferred, not mandatory)
