Operations Consultant

• Day Rate: Up to $900 per day
• Location / Working Model: On-site with client Monday–Friday, travel to clients USA-wide
• Contract start: Flexible, multiple projects available
• Contract duration: 8-12 week assignments

Our client is looking for experienced Operations Consultants who are comfortable stepping into complex manufacturing environments, quickly identifying opportunities and delivering measurable improvements.

The work predominantly supports private equity-backed businesses, giving you exposure to senior stakeholders while keeping you close to the operational reality on the warehouse floor.

Projects typically run as focused 8–12 week sprints, so you’ll need to assess situations quickly, build credibility fast and turn analysis into practical action.

Role Highlights

• Deliver 8–12 week operational improvement sprints across manufacturing businesses
• Identify and implement opportunities to increase operational capacity
• Assess cost and headcount structures to improve profitability
• Work beyond individual production lines, understanding the wider operational picture
• Present findings and recommendations confidently to PE-backed leadership teams

You Will Need

• Operations consultancy experience, ideally delivering short, high-impact engagements
• Strong manufacturing experience across different sectors
• Proven understanding of shop-floor and warehouse operations
• Ability to translate operational detail into commercially relevant recommendations
• Excellent communication skills with both frontline teams and senior stakeholders
• Willingness to travel to client sites Mon - Fri for the duration of projects (all expenses paid)
