Operations Controller

For our client, we are seeking a Operations Controller to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will provide real-time operational oversight across a complex, mission-critical network in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. You will evaluate disruptions, coordinate incident response, and help ensure performance, compliance, and continuity across regional and global priorities. The position requires strong judgment, clear communication, and the ability to align cross-functional teams when conditions are changing quickly.

Location: Tempe, AZ - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $226,000 – $278,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Exercise real-time operational authority across the network
• Evaluate and triage network disruptions during incidents
• Synchronize regional strategy with market leads
• Manage the balance between global priorities and regional realities for compliance and performance
• Communicate effectively during crisis situations
• Bridge cross-functional workstreams for incident response

Qualifications

• 12+ years in real-time, mission-critical operational environments
• Proven high-judgment decision-making under pressure
• Experience leading cross-functional event responses
• Strong systems-thinking capabilities for situational awareness
• Exemplary communication and presentation skills
• Ability to align network priorities with regional realities
