About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent part-time Operations Coordinator to coordinate SHV’s facilities, IT, assets, procurement and supplier services, helping keep our workplace running effectively.

Based in Box Hill, the role works 30.4 hours per week, ideally across five days, with occasional out-of-standard business-hours work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate procurement, purchasing, supplier contracts and the full lifecycle of organisational assets
• Liaise with SHV’s managed IT provider on support, equipment, licences, access and employee onboarding and offboarding
• Coordinate facilities maintenance, contractors, safety, security, cleaning and workplace improvements
• Maintain operational records and support compliance, audits, cyber security, WHS, risk and business continuity
• Improve procedures and prepare operational reports, analysis and recommendations

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in procurement, asset management, IT coordination or a similar operational role
• Experience coordinating suppliers, outsourced IT providers, facilities services and contractors
• Knowledge of asset management, technology procurement, software licensing and workplace safety requirements
• Lots of initiative and a can-do attitude
• Strong organisation, judgement, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Effective analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and relevant purchasing, finance, inventory or asset systems
• A proactive, collaborative and service-focused approach aligned with SHV’s mission and values

Desirable:

• A relevant qualification and/or experience in healthcare, community services or the not-for-profit sector
