Operations Coordinator

· Coordinate and manage inbound shipments via ground, air and ocean;

· Liaise with sales team to fulfill customers needs and shipment requirements;

· Monitor, trace and update customers on shipments status until delivered;

· Communicate with overseas agents regarding required proper documentation for importation;

· Prepare eManifest and work with customs brokerage to obtain Customs release and if required other government agency releases;

· Ensure costing is accurate and updated in a timely manner;

· Ensure accurate and timely billing, and follow up on payment if a COD customer;

· Verify BOL & payment requirements prior to shipment release;

· Coordinate release of goods from the shipping line, rail terminal and /or CFS;

· Research and follow up on customer problems and respond to questions;

· Negotiate with cartage companies, warehousing and shipping lines as needed;

· Adhere to all domestic and international shipping regulations;

· Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines;

· Provide quotes to customers and agents overseas;

· Ensure the approval of supplier’s invoices;

· Perform other duties as assigned. Due to the dynamic nature of our industry, your responsibilities and role may change.

Pay: $48,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
