Operations Coordinator

Job Summary

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant is seeking an organized and dependable Operations Coordinator to support the restaurant's day-to-day administrative and operational activities. This role will help coordinate staffing, supplies, documentation, communication, and service support while working closely with restaurant management and team members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational tasks and communicate priorities to restaurant team members.
• Assist management with staffing, schedules, shift coverage, and operational planning.
• Monitor supplies, inventory levels, and ordering needs.
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and restaurant documentation.
• Support smooth communication between front-of-house, kitchen, and management teams.
• Track operational issues and help coordinate timely solutions.
• Assist with onboarding, training coordination, and employee documentation.
• Monitor service flow and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Support cash-handling, POS, and administrative procedures when assigned.
• Help ensure restaurant cleanliness, food-safety, and company standards are maintained.
• Assist management with sales, labor, inventory, and other operational reports.
• Coordinate special events, promotions, or other restaurant initiatives as needed.
• Perform additional administrative and operational duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, operations, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Comfortable working with schedules, reports, inventory, and operational records.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with basic computer and POS systems.
• Ability to work effectively with both management and hourly team members.
• Dependable, professional, and solution-oriented approach.
• Flexible availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 per week
