Operations Coordinator
Alexandria, Sydney NSW | Full-time
Join a growing fashion business with internationally recognised brands
Are you highly organised, proactive and someone who naturally enjoys keeping things running smoothly?
An exciting opportunity is available for an Operations Coordinator to join a growing fashion business with an established portfolio of internationally recognised brands. Based at the company's Alexandria Head Office, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with teams across Retail, Marketing, E-commerce, Production, Supply Chain and other business functions.
This is a hands-on, people-facing position suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in the details and wants to build their experience within a dynamic fashion environment.
About the Role
As Operations Coordinator, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of Head Office while providing administrative and operational support to the wider business and retail store network.
You will be a key point of contact for visitors, buyers, clients, employees and external suppliers, helping ensure the office is welcoming, organised and operating efficiently.
Alongside reception and office administration, you will coordinate meetings and travel, assist with facilities and maintenance, support store-related requests and help different departments stay connected.
No two days will necessarily look the same. You'll work across a variety of tasks, respond to changing priorities and collaborate with different teams to ensure requests are actioned and followed through.
Key Responsibilities
Head Office & Administration
- Manage day-to-day office administration, reception and general workplace presentation.
- Welcome buyers, clients, visitors and employees, creating a professional and positive experience.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, meeting rooms and showroom presentation.
- Manage correspondence, records, office supplies and procurement.
- Assist with employee onboarding, office events and product launches.
Travel & Facilities
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation and transfers.
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers regarding office maintenance, repairs and equipment.
- Assist with store maintenance requests and follow up on outstanding issues.
- Monitor office supplies and help ensure facilities remain organised, safe and functional.
Retail & Business Operations
- Provide administrative support to the retail store network and Head Office teams.
- Assist with store supplies, stock transfers, documentation and operational queries.
- Help coordinate communication between stores and Head Office.
- Support retail initiatives, promotional activities, reporting and compliance processes as required.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with teams across Retail, Marketing, E-commerce, Production, Supply Chain and Finance.
- Coordinate requests, communicate updates and follow tasks through to completion.
- Build positive relationships with colleagues, store managers and external suppliers.
- Identify practical opportunities to improve organisation and day-to-day processes.
About You
You are approachable, reliable and naturally organised. You enjoy helping others, take pride in doing things properly and can comfortably manage a range of responsibilities throughout the day.
You may have experience in administration, reception, hospitality, customer service, retail support or office coordination. We are also open to someone earlier in their career who has a strong work ethic, a professional approach and a genuine interest in learning.
You will ideally demonstrate:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to assist across different areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, welcoming and service-oriented manner.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and follow tasks through.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Reliability, initiative and a willingness to learn.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Experience in a multi-site retail environment or across several business functions would be advantageous, but a positive attitude, sound organisation and a genuine interest in the role are equally important.

- Gain exposure to a broad range of business functions and retail operations.
- Work closely with different teams and stakeholders across the business.
