Position: Operations Coordinator
Grade: RCS. N
Location: Tamworth (Hybrid)
Shift patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours (08:00-16:30/08:30-17:00)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Be at the heart of the operation. We're looking for an Operations Coordinator to support a fast-paced, customer-focused environment in Tamworth, helping to keep our operations running efficiently while building strong stakeholder relationships.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Act as a key point of contact for customers, delivering a professional and responsive service across email, telephone, and Microsoft Teams
• Coordinate and manage daily customer bookings, ensuring shipment requirements are processed accurately and efficiently
• Proactively liaise with carriers and couriers to obtain shipment updates and resolve delivery queries in a timely manner
• Monitor and track a high-volume operation, managing approximately 250 parcel shipments each day
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and a customer-first approach
• Utilise the Select Warehouse Management System (WMS) to manage orders, track shipments, and maintain accurate records
• Investigate and resolve customer enquiries, providing clear updates and ensuring a positive customer experience
• Support the end-to-end movement of goods, ensuring customers receive accurate information and outstanding service throughout the shipment lifecycle

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Strong customer service experience is essential
• Knowledge of multi modal experience (air freight, international movement) would be desirable
• Knowledge/understanding of customs would be desirable
• Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written
• Able to work within a team environment and off of their own initiative
• Strong and effective organising, planning and process work methods
• Strong IT skills - Excel, Power BI, Microsoft packages
